The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre won't be playing the Edinburgh Fringe this August (2011). It's a great shame, as it would have been our 5th year in a row, and we were looking forward to building on our continued success, but realistically we have to take a year off and work towards returning for Fringe 2012.
The good news is that if anyone wants to book us for a gig in August, we are now free for the first time, well, ever (the Socks didn't really exist as a proper show until the year of our first Fringe). And if anyone wants our undivided attention to develop our big breakthrough TV series, this would be the time to do it.
In the meantime, the Socks will be ridiculously busy with our biggest Spring tour ever. 32 dates, plus extra appearances that keep slipping themselves into the diary (Bedford Fringe July 29th is the latest), so if you want to see all their latest stuff, no point waiting till August now. First show is tomorrow night in Leicester.
