The Secret of Socks Sets

All year round the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre can be found performing their stuff in venues ranging from the grand to the surprising. From a month in a tent in Adelaide to theatres all over the UK, from 500 seaters to tiny rooms that burst when you squeeze 50 people in, there's no venue that surprises us. Here are just three from the last few months that I had the presence of mind to take a snap of. The first is from just two nights ago when the Socks joined the bill of Sacre Bleu Cabaret in the foyer of the Fairfield Halls in Croydon. Not only do we get a nice stage and PA system, we get our faces up on the big screen behind us...

These next two sets were much lower scale, but equally enjoyable, entertaining the lovely people in a sports hall in Nottinghamshire and in a tennis club in Wimbledon:

(No, not that Wimbledon tennis club)

The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre present not one but two new shows at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012: Boo Lingerie - A Socky Horror Show every night at 10.40pm and Chunky Woollen Nits - The Family-Friendly Hour at 11am. Tickets are now on sale, book now!
