Insanely Obese Shark & other stories - comics by kids

A week's worth of comics by kids, and some adults, in my Comic Art Masterclasses in Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, and Hampshire.

Ashbourne Festival in Derbyshire was one of those book festivals that was good enough to take a gamble on hosting a day of my Comic Art Masterclasses as part of their programme, and it worked out very nicely. A full morning session and a respectable afternoon session was followed by me flogging quite a lot of books to the attendees and parents.


Maidwell Hall school in Northamptonshire win the prize for fastest return visit, having me had in April for the first time, and back again just these few months later. I think I just about got away with the drugs cover. If they have me back again, we'll know for sure.


Romsey School in Hampshire take this week's prize for least snappy return visit. I appear to have been there last in 2016. And a treat it was to be back, with two of my favourite titles.

The celebrities these six groups chose to appear in my demonstration strip were Eminem, Will Shakespeare, Jude Bellingham, Bailey Spinn (a Youtuber), Britney Spears, and Jesus. (A more eclectic choice than most weeks, for which many thanks kids).
