Ahead of Thought Bubble, I looked back at this blog post from 2021, the last time I was able to get a table there. I took £311 across two days, which included selling 13 or 14 copies apiece of my original 3 Shakespeare books. I don't even have that many copies with me today!  As you can see, day one beat that whole weekend easily.

A particularly successful second day. Because of The Phoenix, who were right behind me and attracted loads of families, as they had at The Lakes, it was Richard The Third that was by far my biggest seller. Had I had 30 colour editions with me I’d have undoubtedly sold all of them and more. As it was I sold almost all of the black and white editions (hence the lower cash total despite me selling more actual books than yesterday.  There is, I confess, more profit on the black and whites). Had I had Romeo and Juliet with me as planned, who knows how much more I’d have sold. 

The “Can’t Afford Two Quid Club” ( folks whose faces I draw who then don’t want them) was the biggest yet.
