A Living Megalodon In My Bath - comics by kids Rickmansworth to Grantham

Comics by kids from Rickmansworth, Edgware, Grantham in a busy month for classes.

Rickmansworth lined up three classes in a day and unlike my last visit we did them on a flat fee. That turned out to be the right call. Last time I’d done a door split, the tickets were quite high priced, and we sold out, so I figured I’d do better than usual. Then I found out, after the venue’s deductions, I’d come off worse than my usual flat fee. This time we arranged three classes including an evening event. How did that go..?

Rickmansworth morning and afternoon classes filled up nicely. I even sold books afterwards. The evening class, starting at 7.30, had four punters. Dodged a bullet on the door split there.

Edgware Library had two good groups, two good classes. Bought very few books. I know I shouldn’t focus on that sort of thing, but sometimes you get your hopes up. Check out that title, My Gran Got Shot By A Bazooka. How original I thought. See next blog for how wrong I can be.

Grantham Guildhall was a lovely pair of classes. And I got to meet my old mate Declan at lunchtime. And the parents bought lots of books. Thankyou Grantham, you were worth the drive.

The celebrities these seven groups chose to appear in my demonstration strip were Ronaldo, Claudia Winkleman , Donald Trump, Albert Einstein, Michael Jackson, Steve Harvey (American comedian I'd vaguely heard of) and Jeff Bezos.
