SOCKS COMIC - BE A SUPERHERO
The Scottish Falsetto Socks (and their pal Kev F out of The Beano) have produced a very special item to accompany the new show Superheroes: The Official SUPERHEROES COMIC!
It’s 24 pages long and features brand new comic adaptations of Socks Superheroes songs & sketches, some that are in the show and some that aren’t, including Superman, The Avengers, Batman, Black Panther, Deadpool and lots more.
And we would like you to be part of it.
You can become a Socks Superhero, have your name in the comic, and have a unique Sock drawing by Kev F, all as part of helping us get it out there. Here’s what we’d like to offer you:
BE A SOCK HERO - £15
For £15 you’ll get a signed copy of the comic, and your name will be featured in the list of Sock Heroes, being read out loud (ok, in a voice bubble) by The Scottish Falsetto Socks, on the inside front page of the Socks Superhero Comic.
BE A SOCK SUPERHERO - £30
For £30 you get two signed copies of the comic, and your name will be featured with its own Individual Sock Drawing by Kev F on the inside front page of the Socks Superhero Comic.
- You get to choose which superhero you’d like a Sock dressed as!
- And you get the original line drawing too!
(Eg Here you can see Fanny De Sauchs has chosen a Sock to be drawn as Wolverine. Yes it does.)
Sock Heroes and Sock Superheroes can order additional copies of the comic at £3 each when you make your contribution. The comics will only be available to the general public at Socks Superheroes previews & at the Edinburgh Fringe in August, at £3 a copy.
This is a Very Short Notice Offer, ending at midnight on Tuesday June 12th (because we need to get the artwork completed and sent to the printers) so please act fast if you want to be included.
To become a Sock Hero or Superhero, simply send your contribution by PayPal to sockpuppets@sitcomtrials.co.uk and include the vital details - your name (as it should appear in the comic), and which Superhero you’d like drawn (if you’re going for the Superhero option).
Deadline midnight Tuesday June 12th 2018.
NB: The only other special item we’re producing for this year’s show is the Socks Superhero t-shirt, which Kickstarter pledgers will get notice of first. You’ll be able to buy it before it goes on sale in Edinburgh.
