Most popular celeb among school kids is..?
2022 was the year that things returned to normal after the pandemic, if anyone remembers that? In 2020 and 2021 I discovered Zoom, and did most of my classes from the back room. But since the summer of 21, it was back to the actual chalkface, and 2022's classes were delivered entirely in real life. Right up until this week (December 14th to be precise) when I gave my only Zoom class of the year, a corporate event, which produced this, the final comic cover till January...
On which subject, I've made a book of the best of 2022's comic covers, which you can buy now on Blurb and Amazon (prices vary between the two).
And as part of every class I get the kids to suggest a celebrity I can draw as part of it. They provide four names, from which we choose the favourite. It keeps them engaged, don't you know. And, at the end of the year, I've taken to totting up who they suggest most often. In past years there have been some winners who've rather dominated.
