Library Of Doom - more comics by kids

Eeh, October has been a busy month for classes, as is borne out by the number of comics I've sold to kids and parents afterwards. And this year I managed a record breaking six solid days in a row throughout Half Term, beginning with a talk at Great Malvern Festival Of Stories (not represented here), then five days in libraries across the country, of which this batch includes part one.

At Shenley Brook End I did another special project with Anouar Kassim of the Milton Keynes Islamic Association. The kids did two days of sessions, producing work on a special subject that we'll be collecting into a magazine in the new year. As a bit of fun, we started the session with my usual class and made this fun comic to take away.

My week of libraries began in the Library Of Birmingham, slap bang in the middle of the city. Great kids, great classes. But memo to self: never park in The Mailbox! It takes you an hour to get out!

Tuesday saw me at two libraries in Neath: Skewen in the morning and Glynneath in the afternoon. Two fab productions by great groups of kids.

The celebs these five groups (plus Sunday's audience in Malvern) chose to appear in my demonstration strip were Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, King Charles (twice), and Alan Carr.
