Interestingly enough, this just popped up when I was looking through stuff on a shelf, the family card from 50 years ago, Christmas 1975. The first time Mum let me draw the card.
I know. Awful in every way. But back in those days we were the only people who did a home made card like this. Mum did her first as an art student and kept it up every year for fifty years. This was state of the art photo editing in 1975, and I’m not sure how she did it. I think it’s letter press, requiring a metal block to be cut. Rarified, and expensive, stuff.
Now I can do a card like ours, and even amend the heads when Hev doesn’t like the first version. Which, I must say, I prefer.
