We made the edit, hoorah. I didn't mention it till now, but BBC 4 came to our show and filmed it last week, for use in BBC 4's Edinburgh Extra, but I had no way of knowing what might make it into the show. Well, a tiny snippet did, and jolly good fun it is too. You can watch it on iPlayer for the next week.
Obviously we'd rather they'd used a funnier (and more original) bit than the "mass debate" gag, which was a last-minute throwaway line from the opening seconds of the night, but we can't complain. We're on the BBC, calooh calay.
Tomorrow, I'll let you into a secret, we're (redacted - they told us not to let anyone in on that particular secret, you'll find out about it next Thursday when it airs). If we get the gig we'd have to cancel our show on a Thursday night in order to do it, and they know that, so we'd have to be pretty bloody good to be the act that gets chosen. So rejoice in us getting the audition, and you never know, eh.
The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre ...And So Am I is at the Edinburgh Fringe 2014, July 30 - Aug 25 Gilded Balloon, 10.30pm

Great to see the Socks on the Beeb, if only momentarily. I'm the redhead in the front row with the pink 'fringe punter' t-shirt at 48:07.
