Me behind my table at To Be Continued in Bedford
I think we can officially call this a quiet month. With absolutely no schools, and only one class I could sell books after. The Lakes saw my second best takings, which included someone buying my only copy of the Spitfire Annual (with Enigma Variations in) which I'd brought along for fun, and Bedford being a disappointment cos I couldn't make it for the well attended Saturday (though I doubt I'd have done as well as I did by being in Chiswick doing the classes and selling books after). Chiswick was my biggest selling book day, and I got paid for the classes. That's what we want. Let's hope October sees a return to selling books in some numbers again.

If it hadn’t been for somebody buying a page of Dr Strange art, Bedford would have been a washout. The table cost me fifty quid, so I would effectively have made a loss. Saturday had a far bigger attendance apparently.
